My name is Manuela Lazić, but Lazic works too and my nickname is Mani (thus @manilazic).
I was born in Clermont-Ferrand, France, in the mid-1990s but have been living in London, UK since graduating with a Film Studies degree from King’s College London in 2016.
I’ve been writing about film since 2015 and my work has appeared in Little White Lies Magazine, The Ringer, Vague Visages, The Brag, RogerEbert.com, The Film Stage, Oscilloscope Musings, Birth.Movies.Death., IndieWire, and more.
I love to write about performance on film and appreciate most genres, with a predilection for the erotic thriller and the weird psychosexual cinema of the 1980s.
I think jokes are important and I like to stay posi.
